For my last post of 2016, I wanted to take the time and reflect on this past year. What I've accomplished, what I've learnt, what I've started, what has happened, but most importantly, what my goals are for 2017.
I believe you can never truly accomplish something, and I know this seems negative but hear me out: If you have ''accomplished'' cleaning your room, it serves nothing if you are not willing to keep working on keeping it clean, or if you have conquered a fear, you must keep facing it when it appears again, you can't just run away. So the things I have accomplished keep coming and going, so I can not really list them, but I can say I have found many meanings of things and that is an accomplishment I will never forget.
I have also learnt alot, like who my true friends are and how to tell if they are not. I also discovered, at many occasions that if I put my head to it, I can do many things, and that means alot to me. With the beginning of the school year, I have also learnt what working hard really means, but explaining that would be very long, since it basically took me a lifetime to understand it. This is only a little part of my new knowledge, but I think the most important thing I learnt is what I have to work on next year.
I guess I can say I have started some stuff this year, but that is only half of it, I have been able to continue them. Like journaling, every night or so, I take a moment to reflect on my emotions, my day, the days to come, etc. If you saw my last post, you would know that I have been working out everyday since December 1st,I love it. I have also started new friendships that are better for me, I kind of have a different way of seeing my life and the world, and yesterday, I started a book, that I hope to be able to continue, with as much love as I have started it. Hopefully you will be able to see it come to life eventually. Last but not least, I have started a blog.
So many things have happened, good and bad, long and short, happy and mad all through the year, reviewing everything, would take around 21 weeks since it's the stuff of a whole year, but know that I am thankful for every moment.
And finally, my goals for 2017. All my life I never really knew what I ''wanted'' or where I was really going. Well actually I had many ideas, that this year I kind of turned down, but anyways, that meant that I never really had true resolutions or goals. This year is different, these past months I have really been working on improving...myself. I realised there were many things I wanted to start, but to truly start, I had to continue, and to continue, I needed consistency, which is a skill that I have worked on, and I have seen extreme progress. I have made changes that have improved me so much and now I just want to continue that. I discovered you don't need to always have a futuristic plan to set yourself a goal, you can just aim for improvement and take baby steps. So for this next year I will be working on priorities, time management, accomplishment, tidiness, and a positive attitude.
Last, I will just say that I am thankful to everybody that was part of this year, and that I will miss 2016, I have never really been sentimental on year endings, but I just feel like this year (specially these past few months) have brought me to alot of discovery, and new angles. So thank you 2016, you will be missed.
Thank you, have a bright day!

My Daily Workout
Since December 1st, I've been working out everyday. Something just clicked in my mind, and now, that's just part of my day. It takes me about 15 minutes and I have to say, though it's short and not the hardest, I am starting to see results, not only physically, but also mentally: giving myself this goal of working out every day then accomplishing it feels really nice. Here is my routine:
-10 push-ups
-20,20 fire hydrants (look it up)
-30 sit-ups
-15 squats
-1 minute straight arms up to shoulder height
-40 calf rises
-1 minute chair
-30 russian twists
-30, 30 back kicks
-30 seconds of touching toes, stretching (whichever poses you like)
-20 jumpsquats
-1 minute plank
-A full song of cardio (running, jumping)
Hope this is helpful

Holiday Bucket List
I love the holidays so much, the parties, the fun, being off, Christmas (in my family we celebrate it...) friends, snow (where I live there is some), so much free time and sooo much more. But with the 2 weeks that I get off, sometimes my days go to dump, by this I mean I don't do much. Or because I don't feel like it or because I don't really know what to do. So I've come up with some fun ideas of things to do during the holidays so it's even fuller and more fun!
-Build a fort/snowman/have a snowball fight
-Have a movie marathon
-Build a gingerbread house
-Have a slumber party with your besties
-Do some room decor
-Create or find and save perfect playlists
-Prepare outfits/clean out your closet
-Have a DIY spa at home (you can add friends as well!)
-Play some games (board, video, and computer!)
-Find a book or series you love
-Bake/ try out some treats
-Walk around your neighbourhood and explore new places/paths
-Do some geocaching (there is a free app!)
-Enjoy some quality time with your family
-Go skating
-Go skating
I hope this is somewhat helpful, if you have any other ideas make sure to leave them in the comments below!

The meaning behind (my poem)Dreams
I've always wondered what the true meaning of dreams was. I've always seen people putting up dream boards and knowing their purpose, their path in the world. But I've never really been able to do that, since never really was sure of what I wanted to do or what my dreams were, until recently. I started seeing these images, films, words and ideas in my head. I realised these were my most wildest dreams. You may wonder what these were, well they were things like living in New York, having my life together, being some kind of public figure, being ''tumblr'', having a very good salary. living a life that I love and that I want, but mostly, writing, which I am partly accomplishing now, only I need to become a little bit more famous for this to work. I chose to write ''Dreams'' because in my mind, I felt ''ready'' to explain my point of view on dreams, bur this post right here, is my true thoughts. I don't think you should worry if you haven't found your proper purpose yet, it will come. Either with a passion, an idea, a sudden flash or whatever it might be.If you truly have no clue but you need one, then just live, follow the path that life takes you through, one day you'll find a back road, that you will be able to call yours, and it will take you to your success. Keep an open mind and keep your eyes open, you never know where your wild beautiful mind will take you.
I am still searching for a deeper understanding of my dreams and just dreams in general, but I hope this gives you something to think of. I didn't come up with a quirky catchy quote about dreams but I've still got: Dream big and work hard, never give up, you CAN do this!
Thank you, have a bright day

READING- Dreams
Dreams
They do come true,
Only you must also work and come through
It starts with an idea, that grows stronger and stronger
And you dream so hard, you become a believer
Day after day, you think of it
You mustn't bury it in your pocket
Keep it shinning bright
Keep dreaming of it, even at night
Plan your way to the achievement
And work through the challenges and disagreements
Never believe you can't,
Just keep growing like a plant
But really, just keep one thing in mind,
Anything you work for, you'll find
They do come true,
Only you must also work and come through
It starts with an idea, that grows stronger and stronger
And you dream so hard, you become a believer
Day after day, you think of it
You mustn't bury it in your pocket
Keep it shinning bright

But really, just keep one thing in mind,
Anything you work for, you'll find

Reading posts
I've always loved to write, and just like having a blog, publishing stories, have always been a dream. Here I would like to share, poems, and stories (fictional and true, sagas and short) that I personally write. Feel free to share my content, but please keep in mind that this is my content, don't put your name on it. To know if the post is a ''reading'' post, just look for caps lock letters spelling out ''reading''. If it's a saga, you'll see a number indicating it's place in the series. Example: READING- life with me- 1 (series) or READING- A new start (poem)
