Hey guys!
So it's sunday, which means Weekly Recap! I will use this post to reflect on my week: including the things I did and thought about aswell as other feelings or any other topics that may come up.
Overall I'd say I've had a pretty good week. At school I had a few things going on. I handed in a few assignments, I think it went well. I also was quite productive in the after noon. However, I was still off of my workout, but I am getting back on this week. I think the best part of my week was in the last few days of it. Meaning Friday, Saturday and today.
On Friday, I learnt some really sad news, but I was able to properly write it into a poem. At first I wanted to write a paragraph, but the words just It themselves out in the form of a poem, a beautiful poem, that didn't even need to rhyme to be good. For privacy purposes, I will not share it with you just yet, but it might come out later on. The poem was just really liberating and representative of my feelings. I also had a fun night with my sister.
On Saturday, I was semi-productive. I cleaned my basement. That was really needed and also danced for a while. I ended up going for a nice walk around the neighbourhood. And then made some kind of frozen yogurt smoothie. Somehow, I have just been feeling healthy lately. When I see mug cakes and brownies on line, it just doesn't really interest me. I have been more into smoothies, muffins etc. I'm super happy to be seeing this change that is coming out of no-where. But that wasn't all for my day... I also decided to ''plan'' my dream adulthood. So many times lately I just think of: I can't wait to be in my own apartment, have my own food, go places when I want... So I decided to plan it. I (poorly) budgeted and searched for my future life companions, like 4000$ apartments in New York, a monthly clothing budget of 300$, an Apple Haul of 8000$. Now you see where ''poorly'' comes from. What can I say, it's good to dream, and lots of people do it!
On Sunday, I did alto. Surprisingly, it was my favourite day of all week. I was the most productive. I got up and was caught up on YouTube, I had an amazing breakfast, and then watched a motivational video (by Kalyn Nicholson). I felt super inspired to have a similar healthy lifestyle that I decided to do another yoga practise. It was so great, I felt so much better! I then proceeded to work on my ''chill'' playlist. Every 3 months or so, my music style changes, so I am less into the house music style, but more in the mellow-pop/songs-you-don't-hear-on-the-radio-but-are-so-good. I am really happy of how it turned out! With my new playlist running, I deep cleaned my room. It was needed. I also danced around a little. We then went shopping a little, I found a new lunchbox, and tons of good fruit. I was in a good mood/pass and both my parents noticed it, and told/thanked me. That was nice. I finished the night by planning some posts, some finished homework, my favourite show and another yoga practise.
I hoped you like this! I know it's long. I think it's good for all of us to reflect on our week and highlight the highlights that passed or that are too come( I didn't mention any, since it was already really long).
