Hello!
So today I am coming at you with my monthly appreciation post. This is a post to review the month, or reflect on it. To think about the opinions I had for this month and see if I was right.
First of all, I can't believe it has been a month since I have reflected on January! It turned out to be a fine month. I will be more exited for the months to come but whatever. This month I didn't really accomplish much, but I didn't really give myself a specific goal. I have, however been working on my mind strength. Like completing my workout, or leaving my candy for another time, or closing my book or not starting a new episode. I have been doing quite well with that.
I have also been prepping more and working a little harder. I am happy because alot of my worked finished this month so I can almost start clean. I think for the next month, that is what I need to work on, working harder and cutting the laziness, especially with a new semester starting.
One last thing, make sure you are using your time wisely. Make sure you are wasting as little time as possible. I am saying this because we are already one twelfth of the year done. Make sure you are not forgetting or dropping your new year resolutions!

4- Weekly Recap
This week was fine. Nothing crazy happened. I managed to get 2 days out of 5 off! I calmed myself down when I thought I was going to be sick, I had an amazing nice, calm, fun, productive weekend. But most importantly, I am ready for this next week. All my work (not that I really had that much) is done, I am not stressed at all (that may change), I feel on top of the world, I have my life in control. I feel like writing this post every week makes me realise so many things. Like my accomplishments, feelings, life in general. This week I feel like I really embraced the weekend and I am going with my philosophy of do your best, not to stress. I feel just, good! I have left Netflix (just for a little, I go through fazes), I finished a book and am starting a new one, I have my journaling game on, and my blogging one too. My room is clean, my ToDo list is short...
I think I am going to keep this week's Recap short, because I have said all I wanted to say. Just a quick note, I will now be publishing a little saying or words of encouragement for the week to come, every Sunday, here's the one for this week, make sure to leave me some suggestions!

STORYTIME - A Weird Feeling
For today’s post, I have another story for you guys. It’s something that happened to me, and that is now super under control. But I still want to share it, just to add to your reading list… Here it is!
So today the weirdest thing happened, it has never happened before. So I was in a dance class, this was in the second hour, I still had another one left. We had just finished a 20 minute cardio workout. And then, I knew we were doing more "freestyle"... We had been doing alot of it in the past weeks, so I guess I was getting the hang of it but still. There was still 40 minutes left to the class, and I had to go dance in front of the whole class, for many of those minutes. I was all processing this, and the next thing I knew was that the lights were off, everybody was happy and excited, and the music was blasted. For some reason all of this just overwhelmed me, and the world stopped. I didn't hear anybody nor the music, I just saw a blurry flooring and started to feel sort of sick. My head was spinning, I was getting a headache, I was hot, sweaty, dizzy and just started to get that kind of gag feeling...
But, as quick as it came, it left. I was able to quiet down, calm myself, realise it was the same old studio, the freestyle I had been doing for some time now and they I was going to be ok.

So I am one of those who loses her time in front of Youtube, but I only watch the youtubers I am subscribed to, I don't just look on the trending page for stuff to watch. 3- Weekly Recap
Hey guys!
So it's sunday, which means Weekly Recap! I will use this post to reflect on my week: including the things I did and thought about aswell as other feelings or any other topics that may come up.
Overall I'd say I've had a pretty good week. At school I had a few things going on. I handed in a few assignments, I think it went well. I also was quite productive in the after noon. However, I was still off of my workout, but I am getting back on this week. I think the best part of my week was in the last few days of it. Meaning Friday, Saturday and today.
On Friday, I learnt some really sad news, but I was able to properly write it into a poem. At first I wanted to write a paragraph, but the words just It themselves out in the form of a poem, a beautiful poem, that didn't even need to rhyme to be good. For privacy purposes, I will not share it with you just yet, but it might come out later on. The poem was just really liberating and representative of my feelings. I also had a fun night with my sister.
On Saturday, I was semi-productive. I cleaned my basement. That was really needed and also danced for a while. I ended up going for a nice walk around the neighbourhood. And then made some kind of frozen yogurt smoothie. Somehow, I have just been feeling healthy lately. When I see mug cakes and brownies on line, it just doesn't really interest me. I have been more into smoothies, muffins etc. I'm super happy to be seeing this change that is coming out of no-where. But that wasn't all for my day... I also decided to ''plan'' my dream adulthood. So many times lately I just think of: I can't wait to be in my own apartment, have my own food, go places when I want... So I decided to plan it. I (poorly) budgeted and searched for my future life companions, like 4000$ apartments in New York, a monthly clothing budget of 300$, an Apple Haul of 8000$. Now you see where ''poorly'' comes from. What can I say, it's good to dream, and lots of people do it!
On Sunday, I did alto. Surprisingly, it was my favourite day of all week. I was the most productive. I got up and was caught up on YouTube, I had an amazing breakfast, and then watched a motivational video (by Kalyn Nicholson). I felt super inspired to have a similar healthy lifestyle that I decided to do another yoga practise. It was so great, I felt so much better! I then proceeded to work on my ''chill'' playlist. Every 3 months or so, my music style changes, so I am less into the house music style, but more in the mellow-pop/songs-you-don't-hear-on-the-radio-but-are-so-good. I am really happy of how it turned out! With my new playlist running, I deep cleaned my room. It was needed. I also danced around a little. We then went shopping a little, I found a new lunchbox, and tons of good fruit. I was in a good mood/pass and both my parents noticed it, and told/thanked me. That was nice. I finished the night by planning some posts, some finished homework, my favourite show and another yoga practise.
I hoped you like this! I know it's long. I think it's good for all of us to reflect on our week and highlight the highlights that passed or that are too come( I didn't mention any, since it was already really long).

Things To Do In Winter
Even though winter break is over, I'm guessing I am not the only one to, once in a while, have time to kill. So I thought up, some things to do in winter, these aren't really things you can do in hot weather or in the summer season...
-Go skating
-Go skiing (alpine or cross-country)
-Have a snowball fight
-Build a fort
-Go sledding/tubing
-Go visit a winter festival (like a carnival, Winterlude, or some kind of light show)
-Go for a walk (maybe discover a new path/area?)
-Have a winter photo shoot
-Help someone shovel
-Have some winter treats
-Create new winter looks
You can most likely volunteer at any of these places too!

A Crazy Week
I guess I am categorising this week as a kind of crazy one.
First week back to school. Got bombarded with assignments, due dates and units the have no point. I have a little bit of school work, but I have been doing my best to be good. I never really got used to this ''back to school''thing. Went to bed late every night, I wont really be doing it again, I don't think I would be able to take for much longer...
I sort of got into some better habits, like making a better lunch right after dinner, prepping my outifit the night before (though I ended up wearing a sweatshirt every day).
I skipped my workout 2 nights in a row... I really wasn't feeling well, I am sad that I kind of broke the streak, but with this lasting for quite a few weeks now, I know this is not me quitting.
I also got hooked on another Netflix show... Lost half my life to it for now I guess, but the good news is, it's almost done.
Today is sort of ok, I didn't do that much, so I guess it's a Sunday how I like it. I have been trying to do something fun, and then not fun and so on.
Anyways, I think that's it for today... I hope you liked this ''week recap'', I'm thinking of making it a weekly thing. Reflecting on the past week and getting ready for the next!

What To Watch On Netflix
Hi again!
So I am that person that gets hooked on a show and watches it 24/7. I can't help it! Or I love it and go through it all in a week, or I don't like it and don't watch. So I put together a list (yes, another one!) of shows that I have or will watch(ed). These are mostly based on teenage interest. Also note that I am taking inspiration from Netflix Canada.

Random Things To Do When Bored
So I guess I have been doing a lot of ‘’bucket lists’’, but I had this one lying around and I thought I’d share it. I wrote each one of my ideas on a little piece of paper and put them in a jar, whenever i’m bored I pick one out!
-Watch a movie/make a movie-list -Re-decorate/clean room
-Find a DIY -Read a book/magazine
-Bake a dessert/snack/other -Go through pictures
-Have an at-home spa -Play charades
-Shop online/add things to your wishlist -Go explore outside/walk

Blog Update
With the winter break ending, I will not be able to post daily anymore. I will have to concentrate more on school and on the other things that will be starting again. Posting daily was fun, it pushed me to come up with different ideas, I hope you all enjoyed the posts. It was also good to show the Internet what I would be posting as content and proving you that I would be an active blog. No need to worry, I am not going away. I have many posts ready to go so you will still get my content just not 7 days/7, I am aiming 1-4 updates per week. I am never planning of not posting on a week. It's Friday!
It's Friday!
I feel like everyone is super happy that it's Friday. For me though, it's kind of the end of my vacation... I have a really exciting week-end so I have tried to just see like that! Instead of seeing like the end of my vacation seeing it like an extra PD day is a good way of not being sad of the end! I just thought I would share my point of view on good things ending, like vacations, breaks or passes. I believe we must just look at it like a new beginning and see the bright side of things. Or like we were just lucky to have an extra day off!

STORYTIME-A Weird Day
I guess you can categorise this as a weird day. I mean, I didn’t mind it, it was kind of cool. So I was spending the day alone with my sister and my dog. I had gotten up and I was ready to start my day. I made a nice sorbet-smoothie and so did my sister. We then started to watch some TV and everything was fine. But I felt some kind of need to just be outdoors, which normally is really not my type, I don’t really like to just be outdoors, I kind of need to get pushed out. But I decided why not, and follow my instinct, so I went outside to get the mail (I know not much outdoors). However, that still wasn’t enough, I wanted to do more, so I decided to shovel the 3 inches of snow outside and in my backyard for the dog. I came back in wondering what else I could do and the thought of going to a coffee shop came up, I didn’t go, I also would have like to just go walking but there is not really a nice place to walk I guess, near me. So I ended up just doing stuff around the house, watching Netflix.
But then we started hearing these weird sounds, we couldn’t figure out. We had like 8 theories which pretty much turned out to be all wrong. The sounds were hard to describe, there were different ones, like a big bang, and moving around. We thought it was someone’s broken snow blower or the garbage truck, but it didn’t stop even when the snow blower and the truck had gone. So we thought it was someone, the doors were not locked, so we went down armed with scissors, but were too scared to go in the basement. We kept hearing the sounds… We were very scared. Then I just assumed to myself that it had to be squirrels in a cabinet (I know right!) it obviously was not. Then we thought our blender was ‘’possessed’’ (getting wackier every time right!), we chose to unplug it, so I did with much fear. That didn’t solve anything. My sister insisted on checking the oven: under, inside and event the drawer under the stove. Needless to say, there was...nothing. So almost out of ideas, we went to the garage, I wondered if people were playing around it( no), so I went outside and saw a ‘’branch’’ came back and said to my sister, not to worry, it’s just a branch, she decided to go move it so it wouldn’t come back crashing into the house. But she came back affirming there was not a branch outside, I went back outside and came back into my home confirming there was not a branch, just a tiny little weak bush. That eliminated the branch possibility.
Finally everything had stopped. There were no more sounds. I had forgotten all about it. I was just chilling in my bedroom, when (super) suddenly, it started to hail, really hard, little beads of hard white ice. And as sudden as it came, it started to snow, big fluffy white snowflakes, the sky turned dark and heavy, and the next thing you knew, we were in the middle of a blizzard.
Anyways, I know this was long but it’s a storytime, I hope you enjoyed this, I guess reading back it might not be super weird but that’s fine, just thought I’d share. Also if you were wondering, we never did find out what the noise was…

Feeling Down
I love blogging and sharing but my last posts have not been getting any views. I don't know what's going on. I'm really sad. Most of my posts have about 15 views, it's not alot, considering some are probably mine, or robots. But the 2 last posts I have posted have only gotten 5 and I am super disappointed. I want to believe that my content is getting viewed but the stats prove it's not. I love to share and I was still happy with my 15 views, I was excited that something was happening. But now I don't know what to do. I have been posting daily and being as active as I can but nothing is happening. I am going to continue to post but it would be so so so appreciated if you shared my blog wherever you can, or left me something, a comment, a recommend?
I know I must have hope and I still do, but the level of enthusiasm is kind of going down...

Tips For Starting The Year Off Right
We all want to start the year off right. When we do, it feels really good. I have listed a few ideas to help you make sure you’re doing as much as you can to not only have a good start to the year but a really good year.
-Get a calendar and/or a planner, and plan out important dates
-Clean your room/living space
-Set your goals/resolutions, display them if you want
-Everyday, take a minute to remind yourself a goal to work on
-Take a day, to ‘’prepare’’ you (new) lifestyle:
-Pick out some new recipes
-Pick out some new recipes
-Review your routines
-Create a new playlist
-Start something new, do your best to continue
-Try out your ‘’new attitude’’ (zen, positive, patient)
-Re-vamp some spaces, give it a fresh look (move stuff around, change decor)
-Find new quotes to live by

New Beginnings
With the New Year, most people are thinking it's time to change; new year, new me! Or have resolutions, like ''actually start working out'' or being more organised. We are using the new year as the beginning point of our lives, again and again. Don't get me wrong, it is the time for that, and it does feel good to ''have a fresh start'', why would you start something on December 27th? However, I think it's really important to not only use the new year as a beginning, we must see other beginnings. New day, new week, new month, beginning of school year etc. If we don't do this, we will be waiting a loooong time to start working out, and that benefits no one. Starting something the minute you decide you can and should will prove yourself you can do it. I started working out on December 1st, I didn't wait for the new year, that would have been 31 days of nothing, no results, of PROCRASTINATING. I have missed the boat on many occasions because I decided to wait or do it later. Which, really birngs us to nothing, we will have to do it one way or another.
The important things behind all these words are
-Have a goal, then demolish it
-Don't procrastinate! Just do it! Jump in!
-You don't have to wait for a new year, you can wait for a new beginning
Hope you can understand this, and will like this. Maybe it's the kick in the bum you need to start something, even if you read this in July!

~January~
I have had this idea of having a monthly ''special feature'' for a while now and it goes perfectly with the blog, so here it is. This kind of post is a mish-mash of appreciation, excitement, highlights, happy thoughts etc. There will be one of these every beginning of month. Here is the first one:
First of all, Happy New Year! I hope this year brins you tons of smiles and success. Make sure to enjoy every moment, you'll never get it back.
Right now I am not aware of any super exciting things from the month of January, except for the fact that I am off until January 9th which is VERY fun. I am kind of sad that the holidays are basically over, but I am excited to start working on my self improvement and accomplishment.
This month I want to work on a few things: keeping an uncluttered/nice/calm/healthy environment, being on top of work, school, life and starting the year off right. Obviously I will be working on tons of other things, but these are the main ones for this month.
